Explore the map
The home page is a map plus a list. Filter by type — parks, cafés, gardens, neighborhoods, local businesses — and tap a pin to open that place's page.

Read and improve a place page
Each place has About, Events, Projects and Chat. Anything missing or wrong? Hit Improve this page and add description, history, ecology, amenities, accessibility or tips. Edits are credited and kept in the page history, so nothing is ever lost.

Watch the Community Progress bar fill
Every place has a completion percentage and a level. The checklist shows exactly what's missing, and each item links straight into the flow that fixes it. Crossing 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% is worth a small celebration.

Join the community and start talking
Tap Join community on a place page to become a member, then use the Chat tab. Conversations are per-place and live, so it reads like a neighborhood group that's actually tied to a location.

Add a place, community or business
Missing from the map? Add it — name it, pick a type, tap the map to drop the pin, and write a line about what happens there.

Post events, or sync a calendar
Create a one-off gathering, or paste a public Google Calendar / Eventbrite / Luma / Meetup iCal link in the Events tab of a place. Synced calendars keep updating on their own, so your community never has to double-post.

Start a project
Clean-ups, murals, repairs, a little free library. Projects attach to a place, take contributors, and can carry updates so people can follow along.

Fund the small things
Give a project a funding goal, or open a campaign in the Fund hub. Neighbors pledge small amounts toward a bench, a fridge, a bulk seed order — many hands instead of one grant.

Fill your Village Passport
Your passport tracks quests and stamps for real-world contribution — showing up, documenting, stewarding, hosting. No rankings, no streak pressure, just a record of what you've done.

- — Edit generously, delete carefully — if something reads oddly, improve it rather than removing it.
- — Write for a neighbor who's never been there before.
- — Only add places that are genuinely open to people, and respect each place's own guidelines.
- — Keep chat local and useful. No harassment, no spam, no selling in the chat — that's what the Marketplace is for.
